I really like the books, and i really like Alex Garland so I was pretty pumped for this one. I liked it. The overall plot and themes of the book are there but almost every single scene is different, which is fine because it’s still really good.
This is more geared towards little kids, but it's fun enough and I always have a soft spot for Nick Park. Also it's a sports movie??? Definitely wasn't marketed as one, at least not here in the states.
I was pretty jazzed for this one; I like the first two cloverfield movies, and I enjoy a good Space Madness film, which this had promise to be. It wasn’t. It was kind of a hot mess. I wasn’t spooked, scared, thrilled, or wowed. Seemed like a big budget sci-fi channel movie.
Oh man... Pretty? Well acted? What’s the friggin point? I thought I would fall asleep and I didn’t so it kept me at least that engaged. I think my mom would like it.
